Dior Forever Matte Foundation Review

So, the texture of this foundation is kinda watery, but lightweight. And the scent? It’s pretty strong, I can smell it as I’m applying. But, if you’re into scents, it might be your jam.

So, I slapped on some gripping primer because matte foundation needs a good grip, right? And let me tell you, this foundation? It’s got some serious staying power. It blurs the pores and give a beautiful smooth, radiant matte finish.

But a quick warning, turns out, this foundation oxidizes a bit – so I would recommend to go a shade lighter. But don’t worry if you have already got one, a little setting powder works wonders, toning down the orange to a more natural hue.

I wore it for about 13 hours and despite wearing a mask and battling oily skin, this foundation held up like a champ. Sure, I had a bit of shine, but nothing major.

Final thoughts? This Dior Forever Matte Foundation? It’s a keeper. Long-lasting, flawless finish, and that radiant glow? Yes, please. Sure, it’s a bit pricey, but trust me, it’s worth every penny. Still if you are looking for some affordable alternatives. These Dior Forever Matte Foundation Dupes are very similar to the original one.

Closest Dior Forever Matte Foundation Dupes

1. Maybelline Fitme Matte+ Poreless Foudation

The coverage of this foundation is fantastic, it gives me that flawless finish without feeling heavy or cakey. And it literally blends like butter. I prefer using a beauty blender for that seamless, lightweight feel, but a brush works great too.

As for the finish, it’s matte but not flat, if you know what I mean. Perfect for my combo to oily skin peeps out there. It stays put all day without making me feel like I’ve got a mask on, which is a huge plus for office days or long outings.

2. Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation

It comes with a dropper, which is pretty cool for controlling how much you use. Plus, it’s hygienic, which is always a win in my book. And the coverage is pretty amazing. Just slap on a few drops, and bam, your blemishes will not be visible at all. It’s like Photoshop in a bottle.

I tried applying it with both a brush and a sponge. Personally, I’m Team Brush all the way with this one.

Overall, I’d say this foundation is affordable, long-lasting, and it makes your skin look flawless.

Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation Review

First off, let’s talk about the application. I decided to skip the primer because, honestly, if I’m splurging on a high-end foundation like this, it better perform on its own, right?

The texture is pretty decent, not too thick or runny, and it blended quite easily with my Huda Beauty sponge.

The scent? Very floral, very Dior. If you’re into that, you’ll dig it. But for me, I could do without it lingering on my face all day.

During the day, it held up alright. No major disasters, no oxidizing fiascos. But as the hours passed, I started noticing some things. It didn’t settle into my pores, which was a plus, but it seemed to highlight them in a weird way. Like, it was emphasizing all the wrong stuff on my face, and I wasn’t feeling it. And don’t even get me started on that weird glow situation. My forehead and nose were shining like a disco ball, while the rest of my face was like, “Meh, I’ll pass.”

All in all, it’s an okay foundation but I wouldn’t repurchase it. But if you’re into this foundation I have some Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation dupes below.

Closest Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation Dupes

1. Clio Killcover Founwear Foundation

It’s called Founwear for a reason – it’s lightweight but packs a punch with coverage.

The smell is a bit strong, but not a deal-breaker. And let me tell you, it blends like a dream. Coverage-wise, I’d say it’s more medium but buildable to full if you layer it up carefully.

Overall, it is– long-lasting, gives dewy-matte finish with decent coverage.

2. L'oreal True Match Lumi Foundation

I totally love the finish of this foundation. One pump gives a light coverage, kinda like a tinted moisturizer vibe. But for a bit more oomph, I go in with two pumps.

It glides on like a dream, feels light and hydrating, and leaves a dewy finish. It doesn’t dry out the skin at all.

It is so long-lasting that even after hours you won’t notice any creasing, or dry patches – just happy, hydrated skin. It wears off gracefully throughout the day.

Takeaway: Dior Forever Foundation Dupes

Did you like these Dior Forever Matte Foundation dupes and Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation dupes? I agree that these are not 100% identical but they are pretty similar, I promise. Which one of these dupes are you gonna try first?
