Ever found yourself gazing at the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Toner and thinking, “Is the glow really worth the dough?” I get it, you might even be looking for Glow Recipe Toner Dupes. The cult favorite has a reputation for delivering that enviable K-beauty glow, but the price tag can make your wallet do a double-take. And to be honest, not everyone’s patient enough for a skincare to do its work in months.

The Glow Recipe Toner dupes I am gonna be telling you are not matched ingredient by ingredient cause who cares? We only want the same results as the Glow Recipe toner, no matter what the ingredients are right? So I have only listed the products that give the same results as Glow Recipe Toner.

Is Glow Recipe Watermelon Toner Worth It?

Unlike some instant magic I’ve experienced with other Glow Recipe products, this one didn’t give me that immediate wow factor. It’s been more about gradual improvements, particularly in the texture department. The AHAs in it are likely doing the exfoliation job.

To sum it up – if you struggle with breakouts or congestion, this might be your ally. If you’re already on the Glow Recipe train, it’s worth a try. For dry skin, maybe go easy and use it every other night. But if you are someone who likes fast and instant results like me, you are not going to enjoy this product much

Best Glow Recipe Toner Dupes:

1. Some by Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner

This toner is one of my favorite glow recipe toner dupes. It has got the AHA, BHA, and PHA trio, niacinamide, tea tree oil, papaya extract, and more. It’s helps in fighting acne.

The texture is a bit different than the Glow Recipe Toner. Glow recipe toner has a thick sticky consistency but this one is more on the watery side.

If you have oily, acne-prone skin, you’re in for a treat. Just use it daily, but not in the morning – save it for nighttime to let your skin chill and you will see a noticeable difference within a few weeks of consistent use. For normal and dry skin gals, you can hop on the train too, but don’t go overboard.

2. The Inkey List PHA Toner

Claims-wise, it’s refreshingly straightforward – gently improve skin texture.

Texture and smell? Well, it’s just like water and smells (don’t know how to explain LOL!)… well, not much. Maybe a hint of acidity if you get real close, but nothing to write about.

I use it both in the morning and at night but prefer it in the morning before Vitamin C. All in all, it delivers the expected gentle exfoliation along with calming and hydrating properties just like the Glow Recipe Toner. If you’re a delicate flower or battling rosacea, The Inkey List PHA is gonna be a savior for you.

3. Nacific Pink AHA BHA Toner

Now, I’m already a fan of Nacific’s fresh herb line, so when I was on the hunt for an AHA BHA toner, it was a no-brainer to give this one a shot. And guess what? I like it so far.

First things first, the scent – it’s light, it’s nice, and it doesn’t assault your senses. A major win there. And my face literally feels like silk after using it. Smooth, soft, and not a hint of trouble. The only thing missing from its ingredients when compared to Glow Recipe Toner is Cactus water. Otherwise, AHA, BHA, and watermelon are present in it.

4. Pixi Skin Treats Glow Tonic

While Pixi Skintreats Glow tonic also promises gentle exfoliation, it is not the best option for dry skin. If you have oily skin, you are gonna love it even more than the Glow Recipe Toner. It takes that oiliness down a notch, leaving you with a natural glow that’s not a greasy mess.

Now, here’s the catch – if you’re like me, with a true combo of dry and oily zones on your face, well, it’s a bit of a dilemma. Pixi works wonders for the oily spots but can be a tad drying for the dry patches. Meanwhile, Glow Recipe pampers the dry areas but might amp up the oiliness in the oily spots. So, it’s your call if you wanna get the pixie one or not.

5. Byoma Brightening Toner

The star players in this toner are lactic acid, mandelic acid, and ceramides, aiming to give your skin that radiant glow.

This toner is on the gentler side, with no tingling, no stinging, just a hydrating, soft feel. Byoma suggests using this day and night which you totally can because of its gentleness.

As for the texture, it’s watery, like more liquidy than your usual toner. But fear not, it’s nourishing, leaving your skin soft and hydrated just like the Glow Recipe Toner.

6. The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid Toner

First things first, this toner has always been a hot commodity, always out of stock , it was very difficult to get my hands on this one.

The Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution claims to offer mild exfoliation for improved skin radiance and visible clarity. It’s the warrior against common skin issues like fine lines, texture, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation. So, I committed to applying this baby on my skin for a solid week.

The results? Well, my skin got smoother, the pores were playing nice, and that hyperpigmentation? Faded like magic. I find this even better than the Glow Recipe to be honest because it is more effective and I could actually see a visible difference in my skin.

7. Home Bargains Watermelon Toner

home bargains watermelon toner

I have been getting this question for a week. Is Home Bargains Watermelon Toner really a dupe for Glow Recipe Watermelon Toner? Well, I couldn’t get my hands on it but, I definitely did good research for you guys.

Let me tell you about the ingredients first, both of these share the main ingredient which is watermelon extract obviously. Home bargains also has Citrus acid which is basically an AHA. Another common ingredient is Hyaluronic Acid.

But here’s the catch, it doesn’t contain PHA and BHA which are some other main ingredients of the Glow Recipe Toner. All in all, it is a decent Glow Recipe Toner dupe that has some common ingredients and give similar results. According to the users, it feels same on the skin and also give that same glowy finish.

Is it safe to use glow recipe toner every day?

Generally, Glow Recipe Toner is safe to use every day. But every skin is different so I would recommend you to start slow. If you’re new to this or if your skin is sensitive, it’s a good idea to start by using the toner a few times a week and gradually increase frequency based on how your skin reacts. And yes a very important point: Dont forget to wear your sunscreen after the toner.

What to use after the glow recipe toner?

Depending on the time of the day, you can use a hydrating serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. If you use any targeted treatment products, such as serums or spot treatments for acne, hyperpigmentation, or other skin concerns, apply them after the toner.

Is the glow recipe toner good for acne?

The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner is formulated with ingredients like PHA, BHA, Watermelon extract, Hyaluronic acid, and Niacinamide that are very beneficial for acne-prone skin.

Is the glow recipe toner an exfoliant?

Yes, the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner can be considered both a toner and a mild exfoliator. It contains PHA (Polyhydroxy Acid) and BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) as exfoliating ingredients.

Takeaway: Glow Recipe Toner Dupes

While Glow Recipe may not be everyone’s express ticket to instant results, its gentle touch is like a soothing melody for sensitive, acne-prone skin.

Sure, the price tag might make your wallet shed a tear. But if you can afford just try it once, especially if you have acne-prone sensitive skin. And by the way, don’t forget to patch-test all of these toners. It is unlikely that they will give you a reaction but it’s always a good idea to test it out first.

Which one are you gonna try first? Let me know in the comments.
